Why Should I put my Logo on a Pen?
Whether you're at work, home, the doctor's office or out shopping, it is almost certain that you will find a pen if you need one. It might be in your pocket or purse, or from the person standing next to you in line at the grocery store. It's highly likely that the pen has a logo on it. Nearly every pen we see has a company logo imprinted onto it, and these writing instruments pass into and out of the hands or millions of people each year. It makes perfect sense to consider the possibilities of pens as one of the greatest marketing tools in existence.Whatever type of custom branded pens you choose, you're likely to get the most value for your advertising dollar. Whether you choose click pens, stick pens, metal or plastic pens, the writing devices that you distribute to customers, clients or employees are doing a lot of the advertising 'footwork' for you and your organization. Chances are the people who see your pen will need what your company offers at some point in time, or they know someone who does.
People use pens everywhere. A high percentage of those pens advertise a certain company or cause by displaying the organization's name or logo, along with contact information on the barrel. Custom stick pens have full-length plastic barrels and can display a logo, name and perhaps a slogan large enough to read easily from a short distance. Custom click pens (also called retractable pens) are very popular, with the logo or name usually emblazoned on the lower half of the barrel. Choosing styles from the variety of custom metal pens available is completely up to you. Custom plastic pens are a more economical choice - perfect for a new business starting out, or a non-profit charitable cause. All pens have plenty room for important information, including phone number, website and/or other contact information.
Promotional pens can start a very satisfying domino effect: Person A gets a pen from your organization and loans it to a friend or colleague (person B). After that, person B loses the pen. All is not lost, because person C comes along and picks up the pen. The pen still works, so he or she gives it to person D. This can continue many times over the pen's useful life. Theoretically, dozens of people could view your logo on that single pen. Do you see how this scenario can work for your business?
